I was the leader of the strikers in France during the 1922 strike. We won the victory on that occasion. In 1923 we gained further advantages. The British have sent many warships and soldiers to China, for the purpose of oppressing our people. China is not in the position to fight with arms. But we have a weapon which is stronger than arms and that is the economical weapon against which British Imperialism is powerless. It is with this weapon that we can and intend to smash up British Imperialism.

The photo ofcour late master Sun Yat Sen was taken to the Central Police Station, but we took steps to force the authorities to put it back from where they had taken. I care nothing about being arrested I intend to fight.

The reason why the British authorities discharged two of the three men, recently arrested on S.S. President Taft was on account of the fact that the Government was afraid of our
power. They knew we would stir up trouble if all three men were sent to gaol It is things like this that shows how powerful our Hoi Yuen is. The Government are powerless against us.
